Much of my work draws on wild coastal landscapes across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, big skies and dramatic weather, though it's the feeling of a place I'm chasing, more than the place itself.

I rarely work on one painting at a time. I move between two states: wild energy, with big, bold movements, and quiet, deep stillness. Neither lasts for long, and each one shapes the other. That rhythm sits at the heart of everything I make.

I live and work from my studio in North Somerset, near Bristol. My paintings are built up in layers of acrylic, ink and charcoal, adding and stripping back until I find a balance between strong and delicate, bold and peaceful.

Work includes large statement pieces, smaller works on paper, and named collections. Above all, I hope my paintings offer an invitation to pause.
